Registration for this year's Mind Games opens Oct. 6 at 2 p.m., Central for current Mensa members and their guests (limit one guest per registered member). However, there will be a cap of 50 total nonmember guests. These guests will be on a first come, first registered basis until the cap is reached. Members who are placed on the waitlist will take precedence over nonmembers who are also on the waitlist once the cap is reached. Additionally, attendees 14 and younger are required to have a parent/legal guardian (also registered) present in the games room with them at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of all of our guests.
NEW this year: In addition to registering as a Judge (member) or Guest (nonmember), we will also have the option available for our younger members to register as Junior Judges. Have a younger Mensa member who loves games but some of those big, complex, ages 14+ games seem like a bit too much? Register as a Junior Judge to receive a play-list focused on games for younger players. This registration option is recommended for players in the 8-12 age range. Mensans under 12 can also register as regular Judges if they are ready to tackle the full spectrum of Mind Games games. Youth guests are also welcome and will register as nonmembers.
Your Mind Games registration includes two lunches (Friday and Saturday) and three dinners (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday). Hospitality will be open daily from Thursday afternoon through Sunday, with exact hours to be announced. The hotel offers a complimentary daily breakfast for all registered guests in the Mind Games group block.
Please note that a 10-percent processing fee will be charged for cancellation and refund requests on refundable registrations for national Mensa events up until the published deadline.
